Pink Bird Card
Supplies: Papers: pink, burgundy/dark pink, white, patterned white/pink paper, glue and double adhesive pads.
Fiskars® Tools: Portable Paper Trimmer (9893), Squeeze punch L – Bird (4427), Squeeze punch L – Circle (7424), ShapeCutter™ (4806) , ShapeCutter™ Mat (8608), ShapeTemplate™ - Circles (4850), Hand punch – Circle (2352)
Step 1:
With the trimmer, cut a piece of pink card to measure 20x28cm. Fold it at 14 cm
Step 2:
Front: With the ShapeCutter™ and the Shape Template™ circles, cut 4 halves circles in the card front. With the Squeeze Punch circle, punch 4 holes in the middle of each half circle.
With the trimmer, cut a 20 x 6,5 cm patterned stripof paper, a 20 x 5,5 cm burgundy strip of paper and a 20x4,5 cm pink strip of paper.
Using the Bird Squeeze punch, punch out four birds along the length of the pink strip, measuring first to ensure that the birds line up with the circles on the card. (Use our illustration as a guide.) If you wish, as with our design, punch one bird so that it is going in the other direction!
Position the patterned strip of paper on the card and glue in place. Glue the burgundy strip of paper and top of this, and then finally the pink strip with the cut out bird pattern.
Punch one bird in patterned paper and glue it on one of the bird-holes on the pink strip.
Step 3:
Inside: With the trimmer, cut a 19,5x14 cm patterned rectangle and a 18,5x7 cm white rectangle. Glue them inside the card and embellish with four pink birds punched with the Squeeze Punch and some circles from the hand punch.
The easiest way to place the birds is when the card is closed.
