Description
Step 1
Using the ShapeCutter™ Plus and the smallest large template, cut out two beige ovals from 270 g cardstock, one white oval (270 gr paper) and one lilac oval (180 g paper).
Step 2
• Cut a 10 cm x 19 cm stripe from the beige cardstock.
• Cut a 5 cm x 19 cm stripe from the 130 gr white cardstock and as long as the beige stripe, to serve as the lid of the box.
• Use the black scoring blade to score a line 2 cm from the bottom of both stripes and fold it. Use a pair of scissors to cut to the scored line.
Step 3
• Apply texture on the beige stripe using the Basket weave Texture Plate.
• Rub brown colour onto the textured basket using the stamp pad and sponge. Apply texture on the white oval using the Flowers Texture Plate.
Step 4
Use the medium Eyelet Setter (Ø3.2 mm) and punch a hole in the middle of each embossed flower.
Tips: Firmly grasp the purple grip on to embossed flower, then pull in a straight alignment the grey grip straight up and release. Overstretch the spring beyond 5cm may affect the product’s performance.
Use a craft mat to prevent damage to your work surfaces.
Step 5
Punch the border of the white stripe.
Tips: To ensure a crisp embossing pattern, press & hold the punch button and apply extra pressure.
Step 6
• Cut slots of 6mm wide every 1 cm on the middle of the embossed/punched stripe (25 slots in total) and thread a purple ribbon through.
• Mount the lid the same way as the bottom of the box. Just remember to make it a bit looser. Adhere the lilac oval inside the lid. Rub some lilac stamp pad on the top of the lid. Tie the bow of the ribbon.
Step 7
Punch 3 flowers from 180 g lilac cardstock. Adhere them to the box with a glue roller.
